Pizzeria Don Franchino In Castellalto

I went last night and had the vegan pizza with aubergines, hazelnuts and Modica chocolate...what can I say? Divine! The staff in the dining room were super kind, helpful and attentive!

Such great people, food, and atmosphere! If you’re into gourmet pizza with unique flavors, this is the place to be. The best part is that every pizza comes with its own story and a poem written on the walls.

The food is good. The only problem is the lack of a dedicated bakery for celiacs, despite having gluten-free dough (the staff always provides detailed information, so this is known when you book). Otherwise, everything is very good, with excellent-quality ingredients.

Excellent pizzas, impeccable service and professionalism

This pizzeria never disappoints. The staff is incredibly kind; upon arrival, they offered us a plate of their porchetta with spectacular rosemary gelato! Then there's the classic pizza rotation with unique toppings, each one better than the last. And to finish off with a bang, the unmissable ciocorí. Don Franchino, always the best, see you soon!

Excellent pizza, friendly staff

The service was nothing short of commendable, starting with the telephone reservation to reserve a table. The kindness, courtesy, and professionalism were evident in just a simple phone call. The same things were also evident upon arrival. We were greeted with countless smiles, not just courtesy, but genuine welcoming smiles. This kindness, courtesy, and professionalism was evident from the first to the last minute of our stay. The place is very welcoming, tastefully decorated, and spacious enough. The pizzas are excellent, unique and refined, made with the highest-quality ingredients. Even though it's been a few years since we last visited, we've had the confirmation that this is a place we'll be returning to again and again, despite the distance, because they stand out for everything.

Ottimo, camerieri gentilissimi, servizio veloce, la pizza è molto ricca ma leggera. Lo consiglio per un esperienza di pizza diversa dal solito.

Il locale è particolarmente gradevole ed informale con il forno a legna a vista: il regno di Don Franchino! Bellissimi i bicchieri colorati! Buona la birra. Frittelline e bruschette deliziose. Le pizze sono fuori dal comune per fantasia, ingredienti, qualità e digeribilità, una bontà per il palato. Maria è sempre sorridente e accogliente, Don Franchino spesso di sofferma con i clienti affezionati. Non ha efficacia prenotare, il ricambio dei tavoli è comunque veloce e si trova comunque sempre posto con un pizzico di pazienza. Unica nota stonata: abbiamo notato una eccessiva ricorrenza di incongruenze nelle voci addebitate sul conto...
