The pizza was delicious, as always. The service was disastrous. A stove that burned our legs, a broken table that we tried every way to prop up without success, and they refused to change it, telling us it was the way it was and couldn't be changed. The beers and spritzes were served in different glasses (some a lot, some a little). But above all, the rude waiter.

The pizzas are delicious and huge—one for every two people is enough. For dessert, the focaccia with Nutella is delicious, and the other desserts are also quite good. The service is a bit lacking, but the reasonable price makes up for it. Recommended.

Pizzeria atmosphere, amazing service, and amazing pizzas. Everyone is always friendly, and the pizzas are huge and varied. Very friendly staff. A must try because once you've tasted this pizza, you'll never want another. Local ingredients and a varied menu.

My husband and I have become addicted to Nicola. The giant pizzas are delicious, unmatched. The dough is thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Even though they're huge, we always ate the whole thing! You have to see them to believe them!

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
