Pizzeria da Mario In Capua

Today, we had the best Italian food on our trip from Munich to Sicily. Da Mario’s Pizza was delicious, and the vegetable sides were as fresh as you can imagine. Five stars!

I am happy to share my experience: the Da Mario Restaurant is one of those places that has managed to improve day after day over the years, with continuous innovations, without ever making a mistake. A welcoming and refined environment, combined with a truly high level of cuisine, especially when compared to the costs: unbeatable quality-price ratio. The proposal is wide and suitable for everyone: vegetarians, vegans, celiacs and children always find dishes designed for them. I appreciated the aubergine meatballs, the battered vegetables, the paccheri with pepper and ricotta cream, and the vegetarian pizzas like the Ortolana, all also available gluten-free. For the little ones there are burgers, chips, cutlets and baby-sized pizzas, perfect for every taste. And for birthday parties? There is also a dedicated room with entertainment, karaoke and music! The large outdoor terrace, enclosed by walls and plants, is ideal for children, who can move around safely. Accessibility is another strong point: ramps for strollers and disabled people, high chairs, attention to allergies, and free parking on the side or blue lines right in front of the venue. A place where tradition, innovation and attention to customers come together perfectly. Congratulations to all the staff!

Hi assaggiato una delle diavole più buone di sempre, impasto leggerissimo, bordi fragranti e un perfetto equilibrio tra piccantezza e sapore. Una pizza che non si dimentica, assolutamente da provare!

Siamo stati in questa pizzeria-ristorante per una cena tra colleghi dopo un convegno universitario, e devo dire che è stata una bellissima sorpresa. Accolti con gentilezza e grande disponibilità, ci hanno subito fatto sentire a nostro agio. Come entrée ci è stato offerto un delizioso antipasto con peperoni fritti, seguito da un mix irresistibile di polpette, patate e cipolla caramellata: un equilibrio perfetto tra sapori tradizionali e cura nella preparazione. Il piatto che più mi ha colpito è stato sicuramente lo spaghetto con crema di zucchine e mandorle — una combinazione che non avevo mai provato prima, delicata ma ricca di gusto. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, varia e ben curata, perfetta per accompagnare i piatti proposti. In più, il locale gode di una posizione davvero suggestiva, affacciato sul ponte Romano d’epoca di Capua, che regala un’atmosfera particolare, tra storia e convivialità. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca buona cucina, cortesia e un tocco di autenticità.
