Pizzeria Da Gisa In Carloforte

Beautiful Genoese-style farinata pizza, given the origins... Great food and prices. You can take it by the slice or on site, they have a few tables outside and many inside, but without service. It's worth it!

Really good flour!! The pizza apparently didn't inspire me but was actually very tasty. There's always a long queue but it's worth it, it's really nice to eat this Carloforte street food out front or take it to the beach

A great place to eat a few pieces of pizza and farinata for dinner, fair prices, perfect service and very friendly and calm staff, totally satisfied!!

The farinata is decent, although as a Genoese I am perhaps too demanding. The service is a bit chaotic, but you also have to put yourself in the shoes of the people of Carloforte, who see their clientele increase tenfold in the summer and maybe they are not used to it yet (fortunately!)

Every time I come to Carloforte (for over 50 years) my first go is to this pizzeria. For generations, the Padrone has been baking the large round pizza in the charcoal oven and the Padrona uses the spatula to cut the pizzette, each of which is unique. To this day I still don't understand the plan behind this. And you always have to order the fontina (cheese) separately. Add a bottle of Ichnusa and your vacation can begin. Gisa ti amo!
