Leaving the caves. 1:30 PM in August. We stopped on the advice of locals. Very warm welcome. The oven was off, so no pizza or focaccia to take away. The two people there quickly made us three sandwiches with local cured meats and cheeses. A real treat. I recommend the pancetta and fontina.

Highly recommended! At lunchtime, they offer sandwiches, cold cuts, and delicious hot snacks, and in the evening, fantastic pizzas. The hamburgers are also excellent and can be prepared to order. The thinly sliced ​​roast beef is divine. Freshly tapped beer. Very friendly staff. Compliments!

The place, food, and service are top notch. Excellent ingredients. I've eaten pizza loaded with ingredients three times. The place is new and very welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful both at lunch and especially at dinner.

19/10/2025: Traveling to Carloforte several times a year, we know Mamma Mahon very well. Limba is an angel and Roberto a living example of a dedicated cook. Whether you get something to take away for a sailing trip or you sit down in the evening and enjoy some special food, it’s always a good choice.
06/09/2025: Every year we return to Carloforte and go to Mamma Mahon for lunch, confident that we'll eat well—an increasingly rare occurrence. The place is clean, the food is just right, with flavors and truly plentiful, and the prices are fair. We ate quality fish made to order... at a restaurant we'd pay double. Thank you for the warm welcome.

25/02/2026: I'm updating my review after a year. We went back and the toppings were really poor for the price of the pizza. The €15 seafood with this topping isn't worth it. There are no lactose-free desserts like tiramisu.
