Pizzeria Corallo In Pagani

Close to Naples. Definitely worth the detour.

The pizza is among the best in Campania, perhaps among the best in Italy. It's worth trying.

I ordered through this pizzeria at home (holiday accommodation), I am Roman and I love the low and thin Roman pizza but I have to say that this Neapolitan pizza is really good, the arancini are divine. The guys were very punctual. I saw some reviews with few stars but my experience was excellent. Thanks!

Pizza da leccarsi i baffi, impasto leggero, pomodoro squisito, condimenti buonissimi, e patatine buone come poche (soprattutto quelle a spirale). La pizza mangiata al locale è molto più buona (e il personale è molto gentile), mentre purtroppo ordinata d’asporto arriva spesso fredda e con un ritardo irritante, ma dopo il primo morso si perdona tutto per quanto è buona! Consiglio a tutti

It was the first time they went to this pizzeria. We took two coral pizzas, and two Croccche', excellent dough, very good ingredients. Light pizza, I suffer from gastritis, this pizza did not bother me, I ate it all, usually I eat half. Excellent service, the waitress very attentive. We will return

Last night we went to Pizzeria Corallo in Pagani, intrigued by their famous cartwheel margherita pizza. The quality of the dough is good and the ingredients are fresh, but the price is really high: €9 for a simple margherita seemed excessive to us, especially considering the average costs of the area. The place is small, with few seats, and unfortunately it does not have parking, which makes it difficult to find a place for the car. Another negative aspect was the unjustified wait: although the room was practically empty (we were the only customers), we had to wait quite a while before receiving our pizzas. In conclusion, a decent pizza, but the quality-price ratio and the service did not convince us.
