My wife and I had dinner for Valentine's Day at this restaurant-pizzeria. We loved the uniqueness of the dishes, both first and second courses, and their preparation: truly excellent cuisine. The service and friendliness were also excellent. If you're passing through Grosio, you must try this place. The prices are below average, but the quality is decidedly superior. They also serve a homemade seasoning, "la pestèda," to use on meat, bruschetta, or other foods; it's made with crushed pepper, garlic, aromatic herbs, wine, and grappa: fabulous. The only drawback we found was the somewhat cramped parking lot. However, about fifty meters away, there's a parking spot on the road next to the power plant. The "al castello" restaurant-pizzeria is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Domenico and Monica.

Great food, but need reservation to sit down. Will definitely stop by when in area next time.

We had a really good time here: The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly; the dishes were tasty and generously portioned. We tried: venison; pizzoccheri; and desserts. Good value for money.
