Great family-friendly restaurant! Four of us came without a reservation, and it was full, but we were able to wait for a free table at the entrance with an aperitif and bruschetta. The sea bass was a great reward for the wait 😊 We'd go back anytime, as the service and food were simply excellent. The restaurant was packed with local Merano residents, which is a very good sign!

A simple, friendly pizzeria! The pizzas are delicious—including the gluten-free option! The staff is friendly. The location on the main street isn't quite as romantic—but at least there's a children's playground.

The food was good and acceptable, the service was a bit slow, but the atmosphere was nice and pleasant. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I would repeat the experience if I visit Italy again

A place where friendliness and excellent food are always guaranteed, in the company of Heidi and Michele and their staff. The fish dishes, in particular, are exquisite, with a wide selection and unique recipes.

Pizzeria Bachler

03/10/2025: We ate at Bachler twice during our stay and were impressed by the quality and service. There's something for everyone on the menu. The daily specials are very good. Friendly, attentive, but never intrusive service. Their own pizza chef prepares pizzas at the oven. Truly a top recommendation.
03/10/2025: We were really looking forward to a good pizza and were unfortunately disappointed. The pizza in the photo is my own homemade pizza. I'm used to pizzas from South Tyrol that are completely different. The dough was very light, didn't bubble, and had zero flavor, as is appropriate for a dough made with, for example, Caputo flour. It tasted more like a crispy pie crust. Despite the wood-fired oven, it wasn't a truly good pizza. I can't recommend it. The atmosphere was okay, and the enterprising waiter was very nice. This is what my pizzas at home look like, and they're not from a wood-fired oven.
