After exiting Marmolada, this is the first restaurant on the route. The advantage is that the waiter quickly brings the ordered dishes to the table, the number of which must be known in advance. The first Italian pizza did not deviate from the norm and at least the soup was brought to me by a guy with a Rolex Submariner Bicolor.

All delicious and generous portions. You can feel that the dishes are homemade. Here I ate the best strudel ever! Highly recommended!

When it comes to food, no comments. However, dear owner - we would be very pleased if, for example, you added a POLISH flag to the grappa 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 And this music 🤦‍♂️ only German. Play Polish hits sometimes :) You will give us great pleasure. We'll check back next year :) Regards. And one more thing - tell others our opinion because you are not the only one :) 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

For years now it has been a fixed stop after the descent of the Marmolada Very friendly staff and good food I recommend the Polenta with mushrooms and melted cheese. We were served by a very kind and smiling Vanessa who made us feel at home

Very nice. efficient but not very efficient service, still good. Delicious food that I enjoyed eating. The price very reasonable and fair. I would recommend it to you too

The pizza was quite tasty, but it was a little burnt from the bottom. They don't have the best service system here. You have to stand in line for about 20 minutes to order. I missed the menu in English.

A place of the heart for me, on the Marmolada/Padon slope (but take a little run-up first if you arrive on skis and don't want to "unpack"), with a glimpse of the Civetta which lights up at sunset. Great pizzas! In 24/25 I no longer find some of my favorite dishes on the menu (a shame!), but everything there is excellent and prepared with love. I'll go as soon as I can (even for a nice krapfen on the terrace at mid-morning)

22/02/2025: As soon as we arrived abroad there was a lit ember with a small fire to welcome the customers, .. beautiful. Recommended seafood cuisine.. excellent. Mr. Walter and his staff make the customer feel at ease. We will definitely return with friends. Thank you

La Baita

05/11/2024: Stayed for one night to be close to the start of the trek. Nothing to complain about, rooms a bit 90s style but very comfortable, warm beds and everything very clean. Very kind and helpful staff, no problems even if we arrived late. At breakfast there was fresh bread with jam, very fresh speck and cheese.
11/09/2024: We stayed at La Baita during our girl friends Dolomites trip. We were delighted by the clean room and rustic mountain decorations. The food was the best we have had so far at Italy. We were challenged by the Italian public transportation system. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to arrange taxi for us at early morning. They even set breakfast specifically for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Baita.
