The Margherita pizza is delicious, their signature dish. The focaccia and cecina are also excellent.
I'm not crazy about the other pizzas with different flavors.
A few more smiles and words wouldn't hurt; it almost seems like you're making them feel bad about eating there...🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

The pizza wouldn't be bad, the only thing is that when he's in a hurry he tends to not cook it and leave it raw. The base is very raw.

A historic pizzeria on the Viareggio promenade. The whole pizzas seem expensive, but they're large.
What we didn't like was the excessive oil on the pizzas and the lack of attention to recycling. There are only 1-2 trash cans inside.

A historic spot on the Viareggio waterfront.
The same fantastic pizza that has remained authentic over time. For our family, the tradition has now been passed down to the fourth generation, and when passing through Tuscany, a stop for a slice of this pizza is a MUST.

Athos' pizza is Athos' pizza! I've been going there since I was a child, and paired with a glass of sparkling wine, it's the best pizza by the slice in Viareggio! The atmosphere is basic, with no table service, but the owners are friendly and helpful! Eat in or take out, alone or with friends ☺️

€2 a slice is very expensive, but the pizza is good, even if it's very nicely seasoned and greasy. It's a shame, but it's a place that was partially part of my childhood and adolescence, a historic place to eat both for me and for the longevity of the place. Recommended!
