Ottima pizzeria, personale veloce, dinamico e simpatico. Ambiente informale ma con cura ai dettagli e tavoli discretamente spaziati tra loro. Finalmente un locale che si spaccia per napoletano e che lo è. Pizza con cornicione, alta proprio DOC. Da segnare in agenda per ritornarci

Amazing restaurant just outside of the western gate of the old town of Bergamo. I was so surprised by the amazing Hospitality at the restaurant, the waiters were so friendly, they gave me multiple free things like prosecco and cheese bread before dinner, and an entire bottle of limoncello afterwards. The food was outstanding, the Pizza won the award for best Neapolitan pizza in town, and I understand why. I must also highly recommend the pistachio tiramisu, it's one of the best desserts I have ever had. The experience was nothing else but spectacular, I will definitely return if I'm ever in Bergamo again.

Wow. Just a few feet from the old city you find this amazing place. Not only is the service incredible, but the food strikes the rare balance of being both delicious and generous. Pair that with free prosecco and dough balls before the meal, and free digestive and pastries after, and I was completely overwhelmed with the combination of friendliness, generosity, quality, quantity and affordability. I probably should not write this review so the place remains somewhat secret, but it made my heart sing!

Optimal. Really excellent pizza. The negative note is the difficulty to reach it and park which costs you 3 e/h. Because it's in a restricted traffic zone. But by calling the restaurant they give you useful suggestions.

Pizzeria napoletana contemporanea sita a Bergamo alta subito dopo la porta di ingresso sinistra. Proprio vicino si trova il parcheggio della funicolare (attenti ai prezzi del parcheggio). La pizzeria è aperta solo la sera ad eccezione del fine settimana (Sabato e Domenica aperta anche a mezzogiorno) Le pizze sono contemporanee dunque con cornicione ben pronunciato e a mio giudizio molto buone. Vengono generalmente offerti uno “spumantino” come benvenuto e a fine pasto limoncello e liquore al pistacchio

We found it by accident, but after google reviews we decided to go there. We got a table (we were there just after 7 p.m.), even though you had to make a reservation because there were so many people there. For a starter (free of charge), we got some baked/fried donuts, only salty, and a glass of prosseco (it was delicious). We ordered 2 pizzas, one vegetarian, the other with prosciutto and Buffalo. They were large, substantial and very tasty, as well as the wine. At the end we got liqueur (probably melon) and 2 puff pastry cookies. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu for two and it was served in a beautiful coffee pot, which really surprised us. The service was very helpful and nice. If it wasn't our last day in Bergamo, we would definitely come back here. We highly recommend it.

The best pizza I've had in Italy Nice and competent service, welcome with prosecco and such funny salty donuts As a goodbye, you can randomly get a liqueur or limoncello. Overall, I didn't find a single restaurant in Bergamo that would come close to the level of Assaje. I RECOMMEND
