Pizzeria Assaje In Bergamo

There's not much to say, it really felt like we were in Naples. We were there on Saturday evening, my partner and I ordered a burrata pizza and a walnut and speck one, and for dessert we ordered pistachio tiramisu and a duplo-flavored dessert. Not only is it the best pizzeria in Bergamo, but one of the best places in all of Italy, in my opinion. The staff were knowledgeable, the welcome was excellent, the pizza was truly excellently cooked with quality ingredients. What struck me most of all were the prices, because for Northern Italy they are really, really cheap. One thing's for sure, we'll be back!

Honestly, I don't understand the rating. I didn't find anything special about it. They were very kind to offer a free drink and a sweet, but kindness can't be eaten.

We went to Assaje for Valentine's Day. The pizza was delicious and the staff were really friendly. The price was very fair.

The pizza was delicious. I recommend it to everyone. However, the staff... From the start, they weren't thrilled with our presence, as it was approaching 3:00 PM. For four of us, we were told to order a third pizza, otherwise they wouldn't take our order. In the end, even though everyone got limoncello and cookies, we didn't get anything... I don't know if it was because of the infamous manager or the approaching closing time, but it left a bad taste in the mouth.

We were greeted by the staff with a warm smile and even exchanged a few jokes. A unique atmosphere, within its colorful and well-kept walls, where new, old, and vintage blend together, revisited with a modern twist. The service was efficient and fast, and even before we ordered, they delighted us with a glass of prosecco and an appetizer. We ate excellent pizzas, prepared by Master Pizza Chefs Giuseppe and Maurizio (Neapolitans from the Sanità and Forcella neighborhoods), where the high-quality ingredients captivated and satiated our senses with their delicacy. Furthermore, I recommend their excellent desserts and I recommend their orange melon liqueur... which is truly a delicacy for your taste buds. Excellent and excellent value for money.
