Very very good pizza di bufala and margharita. I recommend taking pizza on soft dough.

A pizzeria in the center of Ortigia, recommended by friends.
The atmosphere is welcoming, not very spacious, but tables are spaced appropriately apart.
The restrooms are comfortable and clean.
The wine list is out of date. Three requests for wines no longer available in the cellar.
The wine we finally ordered wasn't in great shape.
The honest and courteous gesture of replacing it is appreciated.
The table setting was nice and almost complete; we had to ask for missing napkins.
The service, despite the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters, could be improved.
The pizza dough was too thin. The tomato sauce was slightly acidic.
Overall, a decent rating.

Nice location, really excellent pizza, and a fair price for the quality, made with ancient Sicilian grains. We only ordered water and the pizza for six, for a total of €97.

Don’t be fooled by appearances, just because it looks like a tourist trap doesn’t always mean it is! I live and work around NYC and can tell you the pizza here blows away any of the “top spots” in NYC. You are in Italy for christs sake go ahead and dive in!
The DonSalvator Napoli style is the go to!!

Locale molto carino, il personale gentile e attento, le pizze scelte ai grani antichi molto buone e prezzi un pó sopra la media anche se in linea coi prezzi di Ortigia. Consigliato
