Pizzeria Altero In Bologna

I was feeling a bit pekkish and not many places were opened. So I decided to drop by for a slice of pizza. I had the sausage pizza. It was basically a much nicer version of pizza hut. I enjoyed it and it was cheap. If you're hungry and craving a snack. Nice spot to come to.

I hadn't been to this place for many years, but I came back because it's a memory I have as a child and I remembered it well; the pizza is always amazing! The guys are very kind, the place is small but it's always worth it.

I've been going to this place for thirty years. Very kind staff, delicious Altero pizza, today when it was hot the air conditioning worked and was balanced. A "must" in Bologna for a quick and tasty lunch or snack

As a student, Altero has always been a pleasant place for a few squares of pizza on the fly with friends or alone. Initially, in the 80s, there was less choice than there is today. A few days ago, I was downtown for work and I went back to try two pizzas with La salsiccia and relive some past emotions. The place seems the same, but the quality of the pizza is a little less. In any case, I found the kindness of the staff again and the place continues to be popular with young people and not-so-young people, like myself. Prices are average and for Bologna, Altero remains a must. My daughter and her friends often go there too. Since 1957, I would say it is a great result for those who conceived and developed it over the years.

The pizzas are delicious, unfortunately there is no space to stop and eat, there are too many garbage cans and they are not very clean where you could lean

What the heck, I dunno how they did it, but the pizza is so JUICY. We got one that looked like it was hot outta the oven with sausage and red sauce. It was SO GOOD. Dough was fluffy and soft too.

The fungi pizza was my favourite. Great for the price.

Good pizza for a good price, you can get full quite well. Nice service.

Altero a Bologna c'è da sempre, con le due sedi del centro storico, in via Indipendenza e in via Ugo Bassi. So bene che in storia la parola "sempre" è priva di significato, però da che mondo è mondo mi ricordo che Altero c'era fin da quando ero giovane, essendo stata una pizzeria molto innovativa con le sue pizze al taglio che all'epoca a Bologna ancora non faceva nessuno. Anche il locale, come le pizze, è rimasto quello di una volta. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è tra i migliori nel campo della ristorazione nel centro storico.
