Pizzeria al Cantuccio In Albenga

A family-run restaurant, very well organized, both in terms of kitchen and pizzeria. Service is quick and the food is good. Reasonably priced. We had tried this place before and returned because we were satisfied. We returned after two years. The food is always good, but the place is too crowded, the tables are too close together, and the wait is long. We hadn't booked, but they still found us a table. Those who arrived after us waited up to half an hour before their order was taken. The prices are a downside: two pizzas, two coffees (€2 each), a 1/4 cup white wine (€5), a plastic bottle of water (€2.50), and a €3 cover charge. These days, especially in Liguria, it's almost impossible to go to a pizzeria or restaurant because they overcharge on everything. It's a shame because the pizza is also good.

Excellent wood-fired pizza, not the usual tourist fare. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'd also add that the owners are truly helpful and kind: they immediately sent us my son's glasses, which he'd forgotten shortly before we left. If you're looking for flavor and warmth, I highly recommend it!

We decided to try this place while we were in the area, and we were right! The welcome was very friendly, and the wait for a table was short. We opted for the fried fish and vegetables called Al Cantuccio, which wasn't greasy at all and was just the right amount of salty. The desserts and coffee were delicious. What more can we say? We're happy with our choice, and we'll keep it in mind when we're in the area again.

We stumbled upon this not-so-attractive street by chance. What a stroke of luck! By far the best pizza we've had in a long time. The house wine was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly. During our visit, we noticed that even locals come here to get their pizza to go...if that's not recognition enough.

Sure thing! I came here after a recommendation from the internet, and they delivered. They have an endless variety of pizzas. I asked them to make any pizza I wanted, as I like everything, and they made me a pizza with everything. You can tell the ingredients were quality. They have a variety of dishes, and the atmosphere is very nice.

We ate here tonight. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was excellent. The location was beautiful, especially the outdoor seating. Highly recommended!
