Pizzeria Al Caminetto In Cartura

11/01/2025: Characteristic rather noisy environment, excellent pizza and service, average price.

04/01/2025: We went (after reservation 📞) with friends to this restaurant and we certainly appreciated it 👍. The place is quite large (for this reason, perhaps, inevitably a little chaotic at times) but well-kept and furnished with a simplicity that creates a family atmosphere. The service seemed to me to be of a good standard (the waiting times were also short ⏱ despite it being a Saturday), thanks to a young staff who does not lack courtesy and professionalism. We ordered a vegetarian burger 🍔, a sorana 🥩 (if I'm not mistaken) with lard and porcini mushrooms 🍄, a horse straeca and a sword 🗡 of meat with potatoes 🥔; very good dishes 😋 and also taken care of from an aesthetic point of view. I just have to point out that the cut pieces of the sword, and partly also the straeca, had some slightly fibrous parts. I also believe, as regards the swordfish (it is ultimately grilled meat), that the dish needs to be accompanied with polenta, perhaps fried, to best enhance the meat itself. At the end of the evening we were then offered limoncello 🍋 and liquorice liqueur. Good quality/price ratio (according to what I had heard I was convinced it was more expensive). I also returned recently, opting once again for the swordfish, which proved to be a very good dish. On this occasion we also took the opportunity to dine outdoors under the beautiful porch. RECOMMENDED 👍.
