"Pizzeria ai Portici da Ricci" was a real surprise. I tried the puccia, which was delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, like it was made in a wood-fired oven. For dessert, the fried scialatielli with Nutella: a super generous portion and delicious! The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is truly welcoming. A place I recommend to everyone!

Just arrived in Taranto and, after several hours of driving, the youngest was hungry. I stopped by chance in this pizzeria ordering only a porcellino and, despite it being a chaotic Saturday night, I was immediately served between a chat and a lot of cordiality. In the short wait I noticed how the pizza chef, Tiziano if I'm not mistaken, prepared his pizzas as if they were works of art, taking care of every little detail. Despite his very young age, he reminded me of an old master baker from my hometown. I can't wait to go and try all those delicacies and, in the meantime, I congratulate all the Ricci staff. Ricci ai portici è una istituzione Tarantina, non è un caso che ci sia dal 1963. È sinonimo di qualità, a partire dagli ingredienti scelti, fino al prodotto finale. Sempre gentilissimi, son cliente loro da tanti anni. Ricordo da più piccolo Dino, sempre sorridente e gentile. Il banco vi lascerà a bocca aperta, fidatevi. Ogni volta che passo per una passeggiata finisco per comprare qualcosa e addio dieta. Consiglio tantissimo i panzerotti fritti, li prendo sempre da loro e per le panzerottate a casa di amici sono il top.

Puccia uccelletti, smoked fried calzone, and diavola in teglia. What can I say... delicious, the fried calzone was delicious and huge, but we ate it all!! The Puccini was lovely, full and well-grilled, and the diavola in teglia was fabulous.
