Classic restaurant where you can have a good quick lunch, we've been back a couple of times, pasta cooked al dente, I haven't tried the pizza but it looks good, I recommend it if you're looking for a normal place to eat, central location in the underpass

We visited Merano in April. On the recommendation of a friend, we went to Pizzeria ABC. We've rarely had such good pizza as here – it's truly delicious. The staff is very friendly, and the food is served promptly. The prices are also absolutely reasonable.

Don't look at the surroundings, focus on the food - it's poetry!!! flavours, truly Italian pizza, truly Italian pasta, Italian food in general the best in Merano! There is no other option to taste traditionally Italian flavors!!! Unfortunately, the surroundings are so-so... but above all, it's clean and the staff takes care of the customer to make sure everything is good :)

Locale semplice già alle 1700 si può benissimo mangiare la pizza o piatti tipici . Personale simpatico soprattutto i propietari,quando vado a Merano per noi e diventata una tappa obbligatoria...prezzi giusti a parte l'acqua quasi 5 euro una bottiglia mi sembra molto esagerato ma nel contesto va bene così

14/07/2025: While traveling in Merano, we tried it by chance and loved it so much we returned the next day. Excellent regular and gluten-free pizza (made on-site, not frozen). Wood-fired oven. Welcoming atmosphere, with an outdoor garden where you can dine and entertain the kids, thanks to the small carousel.
24/06/2025: We had reserved a table. It was difficult to reach anyone. At first, no one answered, then the table was constantly busy. It was a very warm evening, and a thunderstorm was forecast. That's why part of the beer garden was empty. There were many covered tables outside. It would have been unbearable to be inside the restaurant. We felt sorry for the pizza maker at the pizza oven. The pizzas are very large. My husband didn't finish his farmhouse pizza and still had problems that night.

Pizzeria Bachler

02/08/2025: I had a great time, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent.
25/07/2025: We found this hidden gem of a restaurant and would love to recommend it to everyone visiting Castelrotto/Kastelruth. From the street, you enter a simple doorway (or elevator) down to the Pizzeria Restaurant Bachler where you will find a lovely dining room which opens onto a large outdoor dining area and deck with a beautiful mountain view. The service is especially great and the food is presented beautifully and so delish you’ll want to come back again and again!
