19/07/2024: Waiters don’t like foreigners eating at their place. Only because my dad knows how to speak italian, we got a table. Food is pretty good. So, bring a italian speaking person if you want to eat there.

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO. The place appears warm and welcoming the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country. The staff is quick but a bit resolute. Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes. The mise en place is good.
30/11/2023: In a good environment, good food, apart from a few small flaws, but we will return.
