The pesto on the pizza was so good I wanted to buy some to take home. We went on 4/11 at around 12 and the place wasn’t very busy. We didn’t check Google reviews before going and just went off how the pizzas looked. We’re really shocked by the rating, it’s definitely on the pricier side for take away food but our pizzas were worth it. We paid 26€ for two slices - one pesto and mortadella and they were both delicious and visibly made with great quality ingredients. We were really satisfied with the quantity as well. Service was fast and staff was friendly. There are not a lot of seating options but we had similar set ups in other takeaway places. Only thing I would’ve liked was for the pizzas to be a bit warmer but it was really no big deal. Overall, did not feel like a tourist trap at all and would recommend to friends visiting Rome.

Perfetto! We needed a quick bite to eat and Appetito fit the bill. Christina was so helpful and patient with my lack of Italian. Service was superb. Ate our sandwiches at a bistro table on a quaint side road just up from the Pantheon. Would completely recommend.
