The best pizza by the slice in Florence... I'm a fanatic, and since moving here I've tried almost all of them in Florence and the surrounding towns (Campi Bisenzio, Sesto Fiorentino, Calenzano, etc.). Here, the pizza is excellent, easy to digest, and made with quality ingredients. The owner and manager is a man from another era...very reserved, but with great love and care for his work. The prices are more than fair, especially for this city (four slices are no more than €8; in a place outside the city, I paid double for the same amount, for significantly lower quality). The space is small and the seating is limited, with high stools and a single counter against the wall. It's perfect for takeout or a quick meal. Since discovering it, I've been several times, and the service and quality have remained consistently high, both for lunch and dinner.
