05/08/2026: If you're in the Gianturco area, this place is definitely worth a stop. I'm often in the area for work, and when lunchtime rolls around, the first thing that comes to mind is Focacciera, which has become my home.
Besides the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff, the focaccia here is truly exceptional. Every day, there are always tons of different flavors—at least 20 or 25, often more—in addition to their classic selections. What I love most is that they don't make the usual focaccias: they offer original and flavorful combinations, like Bolognese, Amatriciana, Carbonara, and soffritto, all the way to summer versions with salmon, mortadella and burrata, and carpaccio... You're truly spoiled for choice.
But what really makes the difference, beyond the variety, is the quality of the ingredients. You can tell from the first bite that the ingredients are fresh and top-quality, chosen with great care. It's precisely this attention to detail that makes each focaccia special.
My absolute favorites are the Ischian-style rabbit and the Calabrian spianata: simply spectacular. But they're all truly excellent.
If you're looking for a place to eat something different, prepared with excellent quality ingredients and always served with a smile, La Focacciera is a must-try. Highly recommended!
21/07/2026: We grabbed lunch here a couple of times as it was next to our hotel, and the foccacia was absolutely delicious. Our favourite was the cacio e pepe which we could not get enough of! Such a wide range of toppings too and the staff were very friendly.
