One of my top pizzerias in Vicenza! Simple and informal environment, but still refined and welcoming. The waiter who served us was friendly, although he seemed distracted and never cracked a smile. In any case, let's get to the point: pizza rocks! Super light, soft and digestible Neapolitan dough (not even felt). Cornice as I like it (I also recommend the stuffed one, which however I didn't get this time). There is a menu with a wide choice, also maintaining the Neapolitan classics. Excellent ingredients. In short, try it!

Ho mangiato la migliore pizza di sempre, finalmente il vero impasto napoletano, volendo c’è anche il cornicione ripieno. Ho preso la pizza “Re dell’Aspromonte” con cime di rapa, salsiccia, nduja, melanzane fritte,pizza che normalmente è troppo pesante o che gli ingredienti si sovrastano tra loro, ma non questa volta, pizza molto equilibrata e saporita, gli ingredienti si sentivano tutti. Punto a favore in più va all’ impasto, morbido e leggero che richiama perfettamente la tradizione napoletana al nord Italia.

But last night at dinner with my parents something went wrong. 1: we waited an hour for the pizzas due to a problem with the oven. Problems can happen but the customer should be notified either upon arrival or promptly without the customer himself asking for the matter as happened after half an hour. 2: cleanliness of the room, good but not very good. The place is clean but when you looked up you noticed some noticeable cobwebs. I recommend more careful cleaning. 3: the digital-only menu. I have no problems with digital, in fact I appreciate it because it avoids unnecessary waste of paper. But for customers who are not very technological and who do not have a modern smartphone, you as a restaurateur cannot exclude them. At the checkout the owner replied to me in an annoyed tone. “We change the menu every day, we can't print it every day”. Ok, I accept it, but at least prepare a tablet for those who want it or don't have the possibility of accessing the digital menu. Having said that, Pizza Lab is one of the best pizzas in Vicenza and the surrounding area. So I recommend it.

Inizio facendo una premessa. La pizza è straordinaria, davvero buona e con ingredienti di qualità e tutte le persone che ho portato a provarla hanno confermato la cosa. Ma ieri sera a cena con i miei genitori qualcosa è andato storto. 1: abbiamo aspettato un’ora le pizze per un problema al forno. I problemi possono capitare ma il cliente dovrebbe esser avvisato o all’arrivo o tempestivamente senza che il cliente stesso solleciti la cosa com’è accaduto dopo mezz’ora. 2: pulizia del locale, bene ma non benissimo. Il locale è pulito ma alzando lo sguardo si notavano delle vistose ragnatele. Consiglio una pulizia più attenta. 3: il menù solo digitale. Io non ho problemi con il digitale, anzi lo apprezzo perché si evitano sprechi inutili di carta. Ma per clienti che non sono molto tecnologici e che non dispongono di un moderno smartphone non puoi te ristoratore escluderli. Alla cassa la proprietà con il tono stizzito mi ha risposto. “Cambiamo il menù ogni giorno non possiamo stamparlo ogni giorno”. Ok lo accetto, ma almeno predisponi un tablet per chi lo vuole o non ha la possibilità di accesso del menù digitale. Detto questo Pizza Lab é una delle pizze più buone di Vicenza e dintorni. Quindi la consiglio.

Pizzeria located a few km from Vicenza, scan the QR code to view the menu. As an appetizer we had five of the chili & cheese nuggets to share, which are small bites of cheese with pieces of spicy chili pepper and a red pizza with buffalo mozzarella, it was delicious and soft. Then I chose the Anticipo d'Autumn pizza with Principe Borghese yellow datterini tomato sauce, smoked provola, wild boar salami, Umbrian white truffle butter, extra virgin olive oil. What I liked is that you can also have the stuffed edge and I chose the one with creamed cod, very good, and there are many others available (gorgonzola cream, sausage and broccoli, nduja, ricotta, etc... ). For dessert I recommend the pistachio cheesecake. Everything was excellent and order processing was fast. Polite and friendly staff, clean and tidy bathrooms and environment. We had a great time and will definitely return.

I recommend the classic smoked Margherita. Normal environment and staff attentive to customer needs. After the pizza I ate in Naples, this is definitely the best for me! However, I wonder why I find NYesi dessert on the menu!!! Too bad the genseng is missing!
