After the Vesuvius tour, on July 28th we had lunch in Pompeii. First we were at the La Vinicola restaurant, but we finally left there and found the “old kitchen” on the corner of Bartolo Longo square. After we arrived, a very, very nice signora welcomed us, she immediately brought us the drinks. The food was excellent, the linguine was delicious, the diavola pizza… We felt so good here that we came back here on the 30th, the nice lady was there, I had the diavola pizza then. I recommend this Antica Cucina

Beautiful family run pasta shop on the edge of the local square. Food and wine were exactly what we wanted. Staff were at just the right level of attentive. Not sure why this place had a prevous bad rating but we could not fault it. Sat drinking Limoncello whilst waiting for the card machine is not a bad thing.

The Pizza Diavola and Pasta Fresca Pomodoro Mozzarella Formaggio E Basilico (Homemade Pasta) were amazing! My wife also loved the selection of Grilled Vegetables and the Insalata Pomodorini E Cipolle (Tomato and Onion Salad) as did I. We actually ate there twice because the food was soo good.

Nice meal had here. Excellent bruschetta and swordfish but the accompanying vegetables - despite looking great, were cold. Very friendly staff and well priced, good location also. Mostly tourist frequented restaurant but didn't feel like a 'tourist trap' so would have no issues visiting again.

We decided to visit this restaurant despite some negative reviews, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Both the starter and the main course were delicious, generous in portion, and very reasonably priced.
To those who complain that nobody in Italy speaks English: perhaps it’s worth learning at least the basics of the local language when visiting another country.
The service was authentically Italian – warm, friendly, and familiar. We truly appreciated that. Thank you for the nice experience.

Delicious Aperol spritz.
Highly recommended restaurant, especially if you want a good meal.

A lovely restaurant in the city center, with very good food for my wife and myself (two pasta dishes).
A big shout-out to the waitress who speaks French!
You can see her putting 100% into her work, and it's wonderful to see.
