We stayed upstairs in the Airbnb and also had the chance to eat at the pizzeria downstairs, and honestly, it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious (I especially loved the Nutella pizza, which I couldn’t resist having several times!!!).
The owners and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re nearby, you should definitely try this place. Amazing hospitality, wonderful people, and some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!

A place where you can enjoy a truly tasty specialty. It's called "Panuozzo," and you could say it's a derivative of pizza. It's actually made of flaky bread topped with a wide variety of ingredients. Every time I come here, I enjoy the pancetta, mozzarella or provola, and eggplant in oil. Once prepared, it's cooked in a wood-fired oven like a pizza, mixing all the ingredients with the flaky bread, and then brought to the table. Since the panuozzo is quite large, half a panuozzo makes a serving. I also recommend the locally produced Gragnano red wine, which pairs beautifully with the panuozzo and should be served cold. The price is still moderate, guaranteeing a very tasty dinner.

While we were on holiday in Castellammare, a local gentleman recommended this place to us. The pizza is the truly special panuozzo, and the prices are very reasonable. A liter of Coke in a glass bottle is only 4 euros, whereas where we live in the Veneto region, we pay up to 10 euros.

I recommend getting the pizza, which they sell by the kilo. It's good. As for the panuozzo, it's not among the best in the area... they could improve the quality of the dough. The place has ample parking.

A well-known place in the area, always crowded, a bit run-down. I go often. The quality is very good, the prices are average, the selection isn't the best.
The panuozzo is definitely good, but it's very empty. It's almost just bread. I'm talking about the typical panuozzo because you can also opt for bread and pizza if you want.
This is the umpteenth time I've been, they don't accept electronic payments, saying they don't have a line. I think it's an old song, "Kiss!", because they don't want to accept this type of payment.
Next time I go, I'll ask at the entrance if they don't accept debit cards. I'll go elsewhere.

We have been going there with my family for about 20/25 years, it doesn't change anymore, in Gragnano there is only one panuozzo, theirs

Good food. The service needs to be improved. They had got the bill wrong, with a large majority due to misunderstandings between waiters.

ci sono stato sabato ottimo panuozzo e ottima frittura complimenti a tutto lo staff per l’educazione e la cortesia. abbiamo preso un panuozzo salsiccia e broccoli un fritto all’italiana il tutto servito da un ragazzo riccio molto gentile e cortese

Se non badate alle apparenze e cercate autenticità e gusti tipici, fermatevi da Malafronte. L’ambiente è familiare, personale cordiale e prezzi nella norma. Il posto è sicuramente poco curato, ma noi ci siamo fermati per assaggiare il vero panuozzo di Gragnano col pezzo di pane e siamo rimasti soddisfattissimi. Prendete quello con la salsiccia e i friarielli… e non ve ne pentirete.
