A local told us it was the best pizza in Polignano, and we can't help but agree: fantastic pizza! Very finely kneaded dough, a crunch when cut, and an explosion of flavors when you bite into it. Low key but simply brilliant. Don’t let the simple menu fool you, loved it. Beautiful local service, bruschetta to snack, on the house. The beef in the cabinet was great, so tender and paired with a couple of perfectly light pizzas. Back it.

After six years of vacationing in Puglia, we've tried many pizzerias, but Pizza e Fichi is superior to all of them. In August, we only truly experience Puglia if we come to Polignano for a few days, and Pizza e Fichi is a must. It's amazing how Antonella, Paolo, and their family welcome us warmly year after year, making us feel like friends and not just tourists. The best advice for those coming to Polignano? Book two evenings at Pizza e Fichi because it's not just a pizzeria, but also a grill restaurant, and every dish they serve is a testament to quality and authenticity, and it's addictive! Don't forget to try the famous pizza with figs, prosciutto, burrata, and pistachios—my favorite. In love with Polignano, in love with Pizza e Fichi ❤️😋

28/09/2025: Last night I went to the pizzeria "Antica Santo Stefano" in Casamassima. It was Saturday, and as expected, the place was packed. After being turned down at two local pizzerias—which was perfectly normal, as I hadn't booked—I managed to find a table at the third, despite it also being packed. The establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and courteous, with an adequate number of waiters dedicated to the tables. In addition to being a pizzeria, the place also serves as a restaurant. I ordered two appetizers: gratinated mushrooms and zucchini and mortadella rolls. The mushrooms seemed undercooked and rather bland. The zucchini, however, were decent and well-blended with the cheese, while the mortadella was almost imperceptible. The pizzas were good, but not memorable: thin, well-cooked, and with quality ingredients, although there's still room for improvement. Overall, the experience was positive.
