I live in Piazza Bologna, I'm surrounded by sandwich shops - even mainstream ones - but none compare to Ciccio! The same namesake certainly does not reach this quality and I say this as a customer of both!

I'm sorry for the few stars... but unfortunately I didn't eat well. The environment is that of a bar and not a restaurant, the service is approximate and very casual, the food unfortunately isn't that great. I got there attracted by "Steak House" written on the sign, but once inside there was only one piece of meat in the fridge, so it was either that or nothing, and it was very fatty and full of nerves. The side dishes were not freshly prepared but were there on the counter like a diner... and so on with everything else. They are nice, that must be said. But otherwise, really poor. I am sorry! Having been in the area for years, we occasionally stop in this place for dinner. This time the positive surprise is that for about 1 month the owner has become the pizza chef with two proposals: typical low Roman pizza and high Neapolitan pizza with the crust. I took a Roman pizza as shown in the photo (courgette flowers and anchovies) and I must say that it is perhaps the best pizza I have eaten in Lazio. For pizza lovers, given the discreet variety of choice, highly recommended. Obviously we will be back.

Very good pizza, consistency similar to peel pizza. Original sandwiches with lots of flavors to choose from. Cut top. Very good meat and cooked to perfection. The bread for the sandwiches EXCEPTIONAL.
