16/05/2025: Fantastic pizza, discovered by chance, I will definitely be back
15/05/2025: In recent years, Monfalcone's gastronomy has been almost entirely made up of kebab shops, which makes it difficult to find places where you can enjoy a good pizza for a dinner with friends.
So, having found Sapori di Napoli is like having found a little hidden pearl in the middle of a sea full of kebabs.
The pizzeria does well in the enterprise of making you eat pizza and fried food in full Neapolitan style in a location more or less close to the center.
The location, although not very large, is very typical in full Neapolitan style thanks to the alternation of the white and blue colors and the iconic images of the blue club, in particular that of Maradona composed of other photos of him.
The fried food (in my case the pasta frittatina) is presented very well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the scent of oil is not invasive and the internal seasoning is not excessive, which makes the tasting of the fried food and the ingredients pleasant.
The pizza was good and above all digestible, the ingredients were all of excellent quality and balanced with each other, you could taste both the tomato and mozzarella and also the dough, which is not a given these days since pizza is becoming more and more an art and many pizzerias focus more on the appearance than the taste of the product.
The only flaw is the desserts which, being frozen products, do not do justice to high quality pizzas and fried foods, as the ricotta cake was in some ways harder than others while the tiramisu had a slightly strange and unusual flavor compared to the traditional one.
Therefore I ask if possible in the future to replace the frozen desserts with homemade ones such as pastiera, babà, delizia di Amalfi, caprese and Tiramisu.
Obviously I say this because knowing Antonio's skills I recognize and trust that he can succeed in the enterprise of recreating the fresh homemade desserts of the Neapolitan tradition to be enjoyed by people to conclude the evening in total sweetness.
