03/06/2025: so so good food and restaurant, very kind and friendly waitress, rare to find someone who can communicate well in another language in these areas. Next year we will definitely be back especially to try the pizza that unfortunately we couldn't eat for lunch

20/05/2025: The restaurant-pizzeria “La Calcara”, located on the outskirts of Pietragalla (PZ), offers an excellent choice of pizzas and dishes, with typical Lucanian specialties. The pizza has a light and easily digestible dough, the edge is high but crunchy, the ingredients are of good quality. The option with cod and cruschi peppers was really tasty, as was the one with speck. We also ate the house appetizer made with only cured meats, they all seemed homemade. To finish, we found the desserts exquisite, both the chocolate cake and the cheesecake with berries.
