16/07/2025: We had dinner at Sosteria during a visit to Piacenza. The atmosphere is lovely - elegant yet welcoming - with a pleasant ambiance that makes it a great place for a relaxed evening. The staff were genuinely nice, attentive, and approachable - adding a warm touch to the service. However, the food did not quite meet expectations, particularly the gluten-free pizza, which unfortunately lacked flavor and texture. It’s clear there’s effort in the presentation and menu variety, but the execution could use some refinement - especially for those with dietary restrictions. Overall, a nice place to spend an evening thanks to the vibe and service, but there’s room for improvement on the culinary side.
