Good evening, I'm speaking personally because I'm genuinely tired of hearing stories and speculations about the establishment in question, the renowned pizzeria "Pizza 33." It's frequently rumored that the wait times are practically interminable; therefore, I thought it appropriate to verify the authenticity of these claims. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the two master pizza chefs, flanked by their respective teams, named "Paky" and "Shiva."
I should point out that my visit took place during the Halloween period, and I must admit that the decorations were extremely meticulous, almost theatrical. Even the wait staff were rigorously costumed, so much so that, when one of the waiters approached with my dish, I momentarily suspected an attack due to the intimidating nature of his mask.
Returning to the gastronomic experience, my order dates back to October 31, 2017. Upon recent inquiries, I was told that the pizza would be ready within a period of approximately twelve centuries. However, I finally received the order dating back to 1798, thus managing to taste the long-awaited dish. The pizza was paper-thin, with crisps on top that were almost scorching hot, mozzarella obtained—according to the statement—from Mr. Mario Owitti's bakery, and sauce prepared by the expert Mrs. Annamaria Annunziata Cannoletta.
After the meal, I went to the cashier to pay and immediately looked at the price list. I noticed an anomaly: I remembered for sure that the marinara pizza was priced at €3, but now it's listed at €3.50. I therefore believe I will not return to this establishment, as the prices are, in my opinion, excessive and subject to unjustified increases, a circumstance I find slightly regrettable.
In closing, I would like to point out that one of my dearest friends celebrated his birthday here last summer; nevertheless, it is said that the pizzas from that event are still in the pre-baking stage.

We got pizza to take away, which was prepared before our eyes. Simply delicious thin base pizza. I doubt you would find better in Lecce. Also, prices much less than Centro Storico, which is to be expected. If we were wanting a dine in, we may choose to eat somewhere with a more charming interior, but for takeout it was perfect.

Takeaway pizzas, very thin, made with quality ingredients and flours, adequately and proportionally topped and cooked gently. A truly light and very digestible pizza. Highly recommended for those who like this type of pizza. Well done guys, see you next time 😊😉
