08/04/2026: We stayed at the Rifugio Genziana al Mottarone and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is truly beautiful, in a splendid location and with a typical mountain atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the braised beef with polenta and the polenta with cheese, both delicious and tasty. It was a shame, however, that the service left us a bit perplexed. The waitress seemed rather rude at times, especially when we asked for a last-minute addition of polenta. When I asked about the presence of gluten in a dish, given my intolerance, the response was unhelpful and given in an annoyed tone. Managing the order with the tablet also didn't seem very practical. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality and portions served. Overall, a good experience, especially for the location and the food.

06/04/2026: We went here with friends, and even though we didn't have a reservation, the waitress Daniela managed to find us a table. She was truly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Impeccable service!
