The food is delicious and the dishes are definitely worth the detour. The dining room service was decent, but the welcome leaves something to be desired: no one at the entrance to guide or seat customers. It's a shame, because with a better welcome, the experience would be perfect!

The restaurant is magnificent. It has a raised terrace, and indoor and outdoor seating. It's quite busy, so be sure to make a reservation. The arancini starters are excellent! Four small arancini are served. I took off one star for the food because I didn't like my main course (fried bacaula) at all. The fish was mild, but the fried fish was extremely sweet. Like churro batter. It made me sick. So I ate my companion's dish, which was delicious (guancia a guancia) = a kind of beef bourguignon. Very fast service with a smile. We received a very warm welcome. We recommend

Vinimos aquí para cenar como un gran grupo y disfrutamos de toda la experiencia. El restaurante está escondido fuera de la calle peatonal principal y parece que se pone ocupado. Hay platos bastante únicos y tienen giros especiales en algunos de los platos que probamos alrededor de Cerdeña. Tomé un Pulpo a la parrilla como entrada y luego un Linguini con mantequilla de algas y erizo que nunca había probado algo como antes. Me gustó más el Pulpo, pero en general esta fue una buena experiencia que recomendaría también dado el buen ambiente y el servicio muy amable.

Uno de los mejores restaurantes que hemos visitado durante nuestro viaje en Cerdeña. La ubicación del lugar está justo en la famosa calle comercial de Olbia, Corso Umberto. La comida es fantástica! La porción no es mucho si la comparas con otras. ¡Pero sirven comida muy sabrosa! Una visita obligada a Olbia 😋

16/08/2025: Outstanding dining experience! The lobster and prawns were perfectly prepared - fresh and expertly cooked. Kids loved their pasta and spaghetti, and the desserts were exceptional. What truly impressed us was the service - despite arriving without a reservation on Saturday evening, the staff warmly welcomed us and found us a table. The waiters were top-level professionals, attentive and friendly throughout. As someone who invests in premium restaurants, I can appreciate this level of hospitality excellence. The combination of excellent food and genuine Italian warmth creates exactly the kind of memorable experience that keeps guests returning. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Every dish is made with passion, but the fregola with seafood deserves a special mention: perfectly balanced, full of flavour, and absolutely unforgettable. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Franco, the soul of this place. His bright eyes and pure smile radiate kindness and warmth. Thank you, Franco, for making us feel like special guests. If you're visiting Costa Smeralda, this is an absolute must. Here, you don't just enjoy amazing food — you experience Sardinia with every spoonful of fregola. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The Baltolu da Ottavio restaurant in Cannigione is a true jewel of Sardinian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and authentic, with that magic that makes you immediately feel at home.
