I had a very pleasant experience at Ummara restaurant, which is definitely worth a visit for anyone passing through Scicli. The outdoor location offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, yet is dimly lit, making it perfect for romantic evenings. The service was professional and attentive, although the pace could be improved during busy periods. The food, overall, was good. The anchovy crostoni were a pleasant surprise, as was the freshly baked bread with butter and cream, which added a unique touch to the dining experience. The quality of the ingredients is evident and showcased beautifully in every dish. The dishes, though sometimes simple, are prepared with great care, and the variety on the menu caters to different tastes and preferences. Dishes like the octopus ragù and spaghetti with amberjack ragù were truly well-prepared, rich in flavor, and very fresh. The wine selection was another highlight, with a good selection that included delicious local options like the SP68 Bianco Arianna, which proved to be an excellent accompaniment to the meal. Although the price may seem high to some, considering the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant, I find the experience well-justified. Ummara is a restaurant that offers a good combination of quality, service, and ambiance, and I highly recommend trying it for a pleasant and relaxing dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness, kindness, and courtesy of the chef and the entire staff, as well as the excellent food. The restaurant is part of a beach resort, so it's right on the sea, offering a breathtaking view. We ate an excellent Angus steak (cooked to perfection) with chips, crudités, and a wakame seaweed salad (everything was truly excellent and plentiful). We were very satisfied and will definitely be back in the future!

We discovered it one evening in late August, and we were truly satisfied. Excellent sushi, a relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

Locale bellissimo, con vista sulla spiagge e mare... Piatti abbondanti e ricercati. Locale pulito e personale molto cortese. Prezzi nella media. Torneremo!
