Pio's Pub In Scafati

The place and the food are flawless. The environment is welcoming, clean and cheerful. It is suitable for both adults and children. I went there with my seven-year-old daughter who really appreciated the chicken-based dishes. Pio's was born as a classic rotisserie and then transformed into a restaurant whose dishes are all based on the bird. In the transformation it has preserved the authenticity of its recipes. The staff is friendly. So why only three stars? My user experience was disturbed by the unavailability of a dish on the menu, namely the half chicken with potatoes which forced me to opt for a heavier choice, both in terms of calories and cost. I was a little taken aback. I find it incongruous to go to a rotisserie and realize that I can't order the main dish of the place. Definitely a strategic choice to increase volumes. Too bad, because despite the prices a little higher than average, Pio's chicken stands out from the others starting from the packaging to finish on the quality and taste. In the end we spent 34 euros an adult and a child including drinks.

Sono sempre stato un loro cliente e mi sono sempre trovato benissimo, ma non cosa sia successo nell’ultimo periodo, ieri sera sono stato a cena, prezzi esagerati a parer mio (per la qualità che offre), e poi AHIMÈ siamo in una polleria..chiedo 2 porzioni di fritti ed erano scaldati, cioè fritti in precedenza (1 sola cosa era fritta al momento e infatti si notava la differenza, l’ho anche fatto presente al cameriere mi ha confermato che lo friggono in precedenza così da non farmi aspettare (di domenica alle 20:30 eravamo 3 tavoli in tutta la sala…mi dispiace ma posso pensare tranquillamente che era del giorno prima !!! ma con tutto il bene 😂 se chiedo un fritto voglio sia fritto al momento oppure che senso ha !!! Ah è poi il cameriere mi ha chiesto se cortesemente potevo mettere gli avanzi nelle scatole dei fritti così mi liberavo il piatto, sono rimasto così 😐…sig. cameriere che leggerai…saranno pur fatti miei dove voglio mettere gli avanzi, al massimo potresti chiedermi se gradirei il cambio piatto. gli do 3 stelle perché comunque il pollo era buono (tralasciando la quantità d’ olio eccessiva) Ripeto mi sono sempre trovato bene e l ho sempre consigliato ad amici e chiunque mi chiedesse un po’ di pollo buono,pulito e sistemato, ma dopo l esperienza di ieri…non so se ci ritornerò !!

I discovered this place by chance with some friends who took me there. From there, love. We come here often and always have a great time. All delicious, that crackled chicken is truly exceptional. Absolutely worth trying!

We have often been to this place and we also request home delivery with Glovo if we live in the surrounding areas. Chicken is undoubtedly good even if over the years the quality has decreased, the portions have decreased and above all the price has increased. Furthermore, it is unthinkable that you can charge the same price for a dish whether you take it away or eat it on the premises. They should review their menu prices a bit.

Come da titolo.... Il pollo è buono,anche le patate,per carità... Ma i prezzi sono un po' troppo alti..... Infatti non siamo più andati a prendere il pollo. Per un pollo e patate quasi €20 mi sembra eccessivo

From the moment I tasted the crackled chicken Cacciatora it was love at first sight with Pio's!! Beyond this, everything is delicious and although I have been back several times it has lived up to expectations every single time!! The place is welcoming as is the staff... it's definitely a place I will return to again and again!!

Good roast chicken and chips. Especially “Pollo Scoppiettato”

I got the takeaway chicken and I say it's good, the packaging was also nice, the guys at the cash register were super nice
