13/05/2025: A very welcoming place, with brick walls, candles, wood, and rustic furnishings creating a warm atmosphere. Informal service. The young man who served us was helpful and attentive but never intrusive. The waits were short, even though it must be said that we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. The menu offers a variety of dishes, mostly meat-based. We tried the house appetizer for two (€16), which was truly excellent, with several interesting options, such as melted scamorza cheese wrapped in bacon; the focaccia was also excellent, with a light and digestible dough; the first courses of the day were excellent, carbonara with artichokes and tonnarelli with asparagus, bacon, pecorino, and truffle (fantastic); the "grandmother's" desserts, namely zuppa inglese and Sicilian cannoli (€4 each), were also good. The wine list isn't very extensive, but it offers a good selection of local and international wines. The Vitiano Falesco (€13) is not bad at all. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the food, and the service. Everything was extremely pleasant, high-quality and substantial, but without frills. We'll be back soon.
