One of the most beautiful and cozy restaurants in Old Town. The food is always incredible—you simply can’t go wrong with anything they serve. At this point, we don’t even look at the menu anymore; we just ask the owners, this lovely couple who pour their heart into everything they do, “Please bring us your favorite dishes.” And they never miss. Everything is fresh, the wine is wonderful, and the music wraps the whole place in the most inviting atmosphere. It’s truly a special spot, made even more special by the people who run it.

Friendly, home-style Neapolitan cooking; the ingredients are fresh and artisanal (the family produces mozzarella and wines). Our tomato and mozzarella dish had surprisingly flavorful tomatoes in November… The Parmigiana was decent. The setting is very traditional, the owner is welcoming (and speaks French), you know you're in Italy!

A wonderful little gem that serves fantastic food made with excellent ingredients. You can feel the quality in the flavors, the olive oil, the cheeses, and the produce. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the service makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A fantastic choice if you want genuine Italian cooking prepared with care and passion.

The place is nice and quiet, and the decor is tasteful. The dishes we ordered were good, with one exception: the pizza dough, while tasty, was definitely not homemade. As a pizza lover, I know this same elongated shape with the same consistency is available commercially under the name PINSA. Furthermore, we didn't see the chef working the dough at all. However, the toppings were of good quality, let's be honest. In short, a nice place, admittedly, but a bit pricey.

Un vrai bijou caché dans le centre historique de Bordighera ! Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous venons spécialement depuis Antibes pour dîner au Piccolo Bistrot Gourmet, et à chaque fois, c’est un vrai bonheur. Sandro et sa femme sont des personnes formidables, passionnées et incroyablement accueillantes. Leur gentillesse, leur attention, leur générosité donnent à ce lieu une âme unique. On se sent tout de suite comme à la maison, avec en prime l’élégance et l’atmosphère chaleureuse d’un authentique bistrot napolitain. Tout est délicieux : les entrées à partager sont généreuses, la planche de charcuterie est à tomber, les pinsa sont incroyables, légères et savoureuses, les produits sont ultra frais – mention spéciale aux tomates, d’une qualité rare. Chaque plat est un voyage en Italie, préparé avec soin, amour et une vraie identité. Les places en terrasse dans les ruelles du vieux Bordighera sont tout simplement magnifiques. On y passe des soirées mémorables, entre amis ou en famille. Un énorme merci à toute l’équipe. Une adresse coup de cœur, qui mérite largement le détour – ou même un détour exprès depuis la France comme on le fait à chaque fois ! 🇮🇹❤️
