I, very naively, thought I had tried everything in the world but I was wrong. In Campagna, a small town in Campania, but great in many things, I have been on a pilgrimage to dine at Osteria Zena for three months. It is impossible to describe the delicacy of their sensational vegetarian and vegan starters and main courses. Delicacy and quality in abundance; The ricotta from Paestum, for example, is to die for. Delicious aubergines, local mozzarella. The cook is simply brilliant and the service from the owner is friendly and excellent. The recommended wine pairs beautifully. La Piccola Osteria Zena is actually a fantastic restaurant. Absolutely recommended.

In occasione della famosa “Chiena di Campagna”, ho potuto degustare le portate di questa interessante location. Ottima qualità delle materie prime: antipasto e primo (prodotti freschi e ben cucinati). Unica nota dolente l’assenza di un vero menù (seppur surrogata da una descrizione puntuale delle proposte del momento).

Un posto che non ti aspetti di trovare in un paesino “sperduto” Qualità della materia prima eccellente, piatti della tradizione rivisitati e presentati in modo elegante e raffinato. Il titolare è appassionato della sua arte, racconta i piatti, consiglia, fa assaggiare delle vere prelibatezze. Che cosa possiamo dire del prezzo, fin basso rispetto a quello che mi sarei aspettata. Sicuramente se dovessi ritornare in zona andrei a mangiare di nuovo in questo piccolo locale perfetto
