A little piece of heaven – just outside of Lecce. In this charming osteria, you immediately sense that the food is cooked with heart and love. Even if you searched hard, you couldn't find a single negative. I found the staff welcoming, kind, friendly, and professional. The quality of the food deserves more stars; everything is perfect, delicious, and top-notch. My compliments, truly. It's a shame we're so far away, otherwise I would have become a regular.

In the largely homogenized and exorbitantly priced culinary landscape of Salento, Piccola Osteria is a delightful exception. The dishes created by the talented chef Paolo, using only the finest ingredients, are original and balanced, a true gastronomic experience that delights the palate. The service is prompt and efficient. The small garden where dinner takes place is also beautiful. All this at a truly affordable price that rivals any other restaurant in Salento. A well-deserved five stars! See you soon.

We had dinner last night at Piccola Osteria and it was an excellent dinner. We immediately understood that we were in the right place, the welcome was warm, we opted for the 5-course tasting and the girl gave us the opportunity to choose the dishes we preferred from the à la carte menu. Appetizer: frozen tomato soup with prawn crudités and almonds EXCELLENT, mussels au gratin in pecorino sauce and confit cherry tomatoes EXCELLENT, rice Acquerello lemon and squid EXCELLENT, fillet of sea bass with purple potato crumble EXCELLENT, frisa tiramisu EXCELLENT. Absolutely recommended place, kind staff (true), EXCELLENT value for money €35.00 per person! Long live Puglia, long live our beautiful Italy!

Very nice place, a confirmation of the highest level, exceptional seasonal raw materials, one of the best restaurants in Salento where you don't expect it, kindness, courtesy and professionalism. We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The waitress made it very special, food was good, beautiful garden to sit in. Definitely not touristy when we dined there beginning of June.

Last week we celebrated our daughter's First Communion. We were very satisfied from every point of view: excellent food, attentive service to every need of adults and children. We had disabled people with us and they were treated with the utmost care. Thanks to the Chef and his staff we will keep a beautiful memory of this day!

Siamo capitati in questo piccolo ristorante per caso, e ne siamo rimasti assolutamente entusiasti! Abbiamo preso degli antipasti tutti ottimi. Il servizio veloce, attento e cortese. Ci ritorneremo senz’altro!!!

Ristorante Corte del Fuoco

28/07/2025: A charming place in a small square in the old town. The owner is lovely, and she set us up at a table outside even though there were no more seats available. The dishes were delicious, as were the desserts.
26/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant on a scorching morning in late July. At midday, with temperatures 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), the center of Galatina was practically deserted. We happened upon this restaurant, which looked very pretty from the outside, and we called to see if they had room for lunch. Although they officially open at 12:30, knowing we were outside in the scorching heat, they kindly opened the restaurant early. They seated us in the beautiful interior, with its authentic feel and rich vintage decor, and served us promptly. The dishes were all delicious, both meat and fish, and very carefully prepared. The dessert was also delicious. High-quality ingredients and a very fair price. We will never forget the kindness with which we were treated.
