03/08/2025: Disappointment at the Table – A Missed Opportunity
Visiting this small-town restaurant was unfortunately an unsatisfactory experience in many ways. The first difficulty arose upon arrival, with parking far away and poorly signposted, making access inconvenient.
Once seated, expectations did not improve. The service was inattentive: long waits and staff that were not fully qualified, likely understaffed.
Despite the rustic ambiance, the table settings were decidedly sloppy, with low-quality tablecloths and cheap cutlery, giving the impression of a lack of attention to detail. The space was overused, with tables spaced too close together and too small to accommodate diners.
The portions were modest and in no way justified the rather high prices. Even the dishes, while presentable, failed to impress with either originality or flavor, leaving an overall feeling of blandness. In a local cuisine setting, one expects authenticity and substance, elements only vaguely touched upon here.
In short, a disappointment in almost every respect, compounded by a decidedly unbalanced quality-price ratio. It's a shame, because the location has potential, but the management seems to be neglecting what really matters to keep customers coming back: attention, hospitality, and quality.
