Piacere & Gusto In Caltanissetta

Looking for a place to have lunch before returning to Palermo we came across this restaurant, only fixed menu and only seafood dishes, unfortunately I like meat more so the experience did not satisfy me 100%. The fixed menu works like this: you can choose just the starters for €20 (7 different ones) or add the first course for €27, the second course for €28 or both for €32. I choose the formula with the first. The first 5 are without infamy and without praise: bruschetta, fish caponata, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon and mussel peppered, however I didn't taste the fried fish and the prawns which I really don't like. The 2 first courses, really generous, included excellent spaghetti with seafood and homemade swordfish and aubergines, the latter without flavour. Too bad they don't use fresh pasta.

First time and I must say that we had a really good time, the fish was very fresh, the dishes were tasty and well served. The room/terrace is very rustic but at the same time seems to be in a maritime place. We will definitely be back!
