The T2 tram is cheap and frequent from the airport to the city. As you exit the airport, follow the Tramway sign on your left and you will immediately see a tram stop. went there for an arrival, the plane arrived after an hour. there was only a small problem with the exit bar which only worked after a few minutes, causing inconvenience among some machines including mine. in general a good service even if parking is expensive.

The security guys did their job without humiliating travellers, in fact they were really great and I wish we had guys like that at Heathrow as the security there are beyond words. In fact I've noticed that its something like torture to pass into their hands. So well done Florence airport, you are amazing.

Small airport with few services, the runway is short and the route covered by airlines is limited. The city of Florence has needed an adequate airport for years. 4 stars only for the city.

Lots of shops but little space for the gates and also few steps for the security check. For the rest ok

You can get to Florence airport very well by tram but there is also a fairly large car park. The waiting chairs have plugs for charging phones. Check-in and departures take place on the first floor served by at least two lifts, but also by fixed and escalators. The always friendly staff reduces waiting times in queues. Small but well organized airport, very clean and provided with all services. The flights are national and international but with planes small enough to land and take off well from the not too large runways of this airport close to the mountains.

One woman told me that the runway's lenght is quite the half of other usual runway's lenghts on other airports, making it the most dangerous airports in Italy. Besides that, employees use to just shout out your boarding group when you get ready to board. There is no single screen diaplaying your boarding group and the suiting time. I recommend to wait a long time before your actual boarding time in front of your gate, being able to hear the employees shout
