Great little shop where they make pesto fresh. Even have a grinder right at the window so people can see the ingredients being mixed. They can give you some snacks with pesto too.

Good opportunity to quickly eat a first course or an appetizer with an excellent fresh pesto, made on the spot, at modest prices. However, you have to be content with sitting on stools at a counter. Very kind service. Unfortunately, if you want to buy pesto in glass jars, you have to consume it within a short time, because the jars cannot be sterilized.

It is a small delicatessen a few steps from the cathedral that produces homemade pesto, the result is excellent. I tried it with pasta and it is delicate and tasty on the palate. Perfect service with patient and friendly staff. The prices are ok.

Si estás en Génova/Génova, o simplemente de paso, tómate unos minutos para visitarnos. Génova es un poco áspera alrededor de los bordes, y se supera - ensombrecida por otros atractivos turísticos en Italia. Sin embargo, es una verdadera ciudad del norte de Italia, no un parque temático para los turistas como otras ciudades, y Pestobene le dará una prueba de pesto alla genovese real. Enjoy.

Qui abbiamo deciso di comprare il pesto da portare a casa come "souvenir"! Non solo ci hanno spiegato bene come conservarlo e farlo viaggiare, ma sono stati gentilissimi e ce lo hanno anche fatto assaggiare e spiegato che era fresco e che lo fanno ogni giorno. Ci hanno così fatto due comodissime confezioni termiche da portare a casa che resistessero al "lungo" viaggio in treno!

16/12/2024: With my wife and my brother and other couples of friends we had dinner to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend of ours in this restaurant located in the historic center of Genoa, about 100 meters from Via XXV Aprile. We sat at an internal table and there are several large and small internal rooms reserved and with some tables also outdoors overlooking the climb. We all chose a tasting menu. As appetizers we opted for several crunchy eggs carbonara and almond prawns with 3 mayonnaise and a mango artara, salted zabaglione, black garlic crumble. First tagliolini with shellfish then Acquarello risotto with pumpkin, stock and black truffle then tortello with cacio pepe “inside out” with raw Bra sausage. Second courses: mixed fried seafood, then stuffed boned rabbit and its spinach base, then veal with tuna sauce Cbt.
