Pescettino In Nerviano

I went to eat fish at Pescettino, attracted by the idea of ​​fresh fish chosen directly from the counter. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't very positive. I understand that certain things can happen even with fresh fish, but I would have expected more attention from the restaurant. It's a shame, because the staff was friendly.

On Tuesday evening, high prices, ok food, very kind staff, nice location.

A truly wonderful discovery. Just one note: if a customer orders a dish that must be cooked, it would be appropriate to factor everything into the already high price, and not just the cherry tomatoes and olives needed to prepare the dish. Otherwise, the raw fish would have to be eaten as is.

I booked a Sunday lunch at this restaurant last minute. Every time I pass it, I say, "I have to try it." I tried it today and will definitely be back. Fresh fish cooked well, the fried food is dry and delicious, the wines are limited but well-selected, and the staff is attentive, courteous, and smiling. Highly recommended.

I've finally found my ideal restaurant 🙏 Usually, in other restaurants I have to add extras every time, or maybe I don't find what I really want to eat. But here, you can choose whatever you like, and especially whatever you want to eat, except for the starters, but there are still several options. I met Piero, the owner. He's helpful and friendly, and I congratulate the entire staff for having found this place right. 💪

Nothing to add. Everything was perfect, from the quality of the ingredients to the way they were prepared. Fried fish for over half a kilo cost €20, every single type of fish (from baby octopus to cod) was fried to perfection, each one taking its own time. The shellfish paccheri were FABULOUS!!! The bill?! Absolutely below average!! Excellent value for money.

The interior is charming (it's a shame it's located in an industrial area), clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The service is unsatisfactory, as you serve yourself. I wonder if on busy days there's a long line, resulting in chaos when picking up your food. The ingredients are definitely fresh, but it's a shame the plating is decidedly basic, served on stiff, white plastic plates, which, in my opinion, make the food truly unhappy.

A nice, well-kept place with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The service is "self-service," so a little different than usual, but efficient and reasonably quick. The quality of the fish is good; you can taste it's fresh and well-cooked. However, I found the prices a bit high for the quantity and type of service offered. Overall, a good experience for those looking for a casual place to eat quality fish, but perhaps a bit pricey.

For lunch, the appetizers were good and the pasta with clams was good. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere was family-like.
