It was very tasty😍We waited for the order for about 15 minutes and ate it in a couple of minutes😍This is the most delicious pizza I have eaten in restaurants😍 We also live around the corner, 10 steps away! There are always a lot of people here! We already want to come here again😍The pizza is wonderful and the card with cheese is also fire🔥🔥🔥🔥

The pizzas are to die for! The “Caprese” starter with the delicious pizza bread was also highly recommended. The staff is also very friendly. So we ate here twice during our short vacation.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. We arrived just as they had effectively closed and were getting ready to go home. It's November, and the plaza was like a ghost town, but the owners, stayed open, especially for us, and cooked us the most wonderful meal. Way up there with the very best food we've eaten in Calabria, and probably the world. If you're in Pizzo, this place is a must !!

We ate the best pizza here in Pizzo, a bit off the beaten track, away from the tourist bustle. Beautiful decor, easy communication in English, excellent service. I highly recommend it.

01/05/2025: We had lunch at this seaside restaurant. The food, all based on fish, was really excellent: fresh, well cooked and served with care. The only negative note was the setup: our table was in full sun and there was not enough coverage. A small improvement on this aspect would make the experience perfect!

La locanda del Monaco

18/05/2025: pleasantly surprised, given the old negative reviews. With the new management the place seems comfortable with a family atmosphere. the room is well kept, the meat is on display in the fridge in the room. the staff is extremely helpful (they, at my request, "invented" a table to accommodate me) good food for quality and price. discreet and politely engaging piano bar. outdoor tables. I recommend it for those who want to spend a carefree evening. small flaws, which I am sure will disappear with time.
