The handmade arrosticini were excellent, tender and well-cooked. The mixed liver and veal ones were less so, as they were a bit tough. It was too hot on the veranda with the gas mushrooms on.

The absolute best arrosticini ever. I've been coming here for I don't even know how many years: 15? 20? Who knows. They've always been the best and remain so. The small ones are unbeatable. An ABSOLUTE reference.

We visited this restaurant on August 20th. We had mixed fritters as an appetizer and arrosticini: classic, liver, and handmade.
The food wasn't bad, but the service, hopefully due to the large crowd, could use some updating. The cover charge would have included bread (an excellent base for arrosticini), but it wasn't brought to us, and looking at other tables, we weren't the only ones.
The arrosticini, however, were brought to us in batches: the first eight (four each), and only after a bit of a wait were the rest. I understand they were different types, but having to "taste" them and then wait a bit longer spoils your appetite.
Regardless, this is a place that certainly knows its stuff, but the price of the arrosticini has reached quite high levels.
