My girlfriend and I got takeout coffee here during our visit to Ostia. It's conveniently located, right next to the train station. We only got an espresso. It tasted good and was reasonably priced. The staff was also very friendly.

A few years ago, I was intrigued by this café, as its aesthetics already conveyed an elegant and wholesome feel. Years later, I can confirm that it surpasses expectations. Family-run, with a select clientele, it's a pleasure to arrive at the station 10 minutes early to enjoy an excellent coffee in good company. I sometimes stop for lunch, too; although the price seems higher than average, it's more than made up for by the quality and quantity of the final product. Eating there feels like eating at home. Recently, I also tried the gelato and discovered it; I'd say it's one of the best artisanal gelato shops in the area. It's hard to find fault, as I've seen an almost obsessive care and attention to every product and service they offer. As a lover of simple, healthy cuisine prepared with transparency, this is a surefire option for me. I'm happy to have found a café that reflects what I'm looking for: simplicity and quality.
