Pepe e sale In Pontedera

Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Sale e Pepe restaurant in Pontedera and I must say that it was an incredible experience! We decided to try their famous pizza, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The base was perfectly crunchy, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that went together perfectly. To pair it, I chose a honey-flavored beer, which added a sweet and aromatic touch to the meal, creating a truly delicious balance. The owner, Saverio, was exceptional in recommending both pizza and beer, demonstrating great knowledge of the menu and a passion for service. To end the evening on a high note, we couldn't give up the desserts, and they lived up to expectations! Each course was a real delight, with flavors that melted in your mouth. A culinary experience that I highly recommend to everyone! I will definitely return to relive this gastronomic magic. Thank you, Salt and Pepper!

I reiterate my review from four years ago! In my opinion the pizzas are very good. They are thin, but for me they are perfect. Uniquely digestible, rich in ingredients and quality. Young, fast, attentive service! We went last night for a dinner of 12 people. Even though there were many of us, we didn't wait long for the pizzas to arrive. For the appetizer we took mixed platters of cold cuts and croutons, everyone chose a pizza, some had dessert and some had coffee. Beers, coca cola, estathe'. Cost of €28 each

Well... all in all I don't know if I would go back. I'll start by saying that I'm not from the area. I go to this pizzeria/restaurant sent by friends. As a customer: I immediately notice a very fashionable and trendy environment, I enter the bathrooms: very clean. Very subjective pizza (you may like it or not..... being very low), we took also an appetizer (normal !!!!) Young and active waitresses (we had a problem with the table and they immediately solved the problem). On holidays or with more crowds they work 2 shifts at 7.30 pm and 9.00pm and if you go to the first shift they make you understand to leave the table in the time necessary to properly prepare the table again for the guests afterwards. Medium/high price. Personally I prefer other places where I can eat a little better, where I can stay at table to talk and also be able to order something else. Anyway the place was full despite another pizzeria next door so I can have a different vision than the others. As a restaurateur for 23 years: I would like to say that everything seems to be perfectly thought out in the way of doing things Kitchen in order to make as many covers as possible, very well, well done.

I spent a nice evening in a welcoming environment that pampers customers while they enjoy the tasty dishes of this restaurant. I ordered a land appetizer and pici. Excellent service, shame about the table we ended up with right next to the kitchen and the door with other customers shouting behind it, otherwise impeccable. We will be back

I was there last week. The place is truly welcoming as is the staff. The amazing pizza.....even if low, it is very filling and has quality ingredients. The service is very fast and courteous. I recommend it...in fact when I return to Pontedera it will certainly be the place I choose to have dinner.

One of the best pizzerias in the area. The pizza dough is of a remarkable standard. Fine thickness, with body, crunchy but not burnt, with its own well-defined flavour, which leaves room for those of the filling. A base that knows how to perform its role as a supporting structure well, but not overlying it. The ingredients on the pizza are fresh, tasty and easily distinguishable from each other. To finish on a high note as dessert, I really appreciated the tiramisu. Very, very good. A place I highly recommend.

La perfezione non esis...tranne la pizza da Pepe e sale. Locale carinissimo con personale giovane, accogliente e super velocissimi nel servire. E poi..beh..la pizza superlativa: ben lievitata, ottima nel gusto, ricca e digeribile. Ogni volta che vengo in questa pizzeria è come se fosse sempre la prima volta! Inoltre..rapporto qualità prezzo onestissimo. A prestissimo, non mancherò mai di ritornare!💗💗💗
