Beautiful restaurant in the middle of nature, comfortable and familiar place, lots of starters, four first courses and four second courses all good, good wines and desserts too, fast service, kind waiters and very nice owner, for a nice day spent in company it is the ideal place.

The hotel is a jewel in the Alta Val Tidone, not far from the pass of the same name, between Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont and Liguria. The Romagnese area offers landscapes and paths of rare beauty, among rivers and streams, not far from Bobbio and the equally wonderful Val Trebbia. Very kind hotel staff, starting from the owner. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent food, with quality local ingredients, cooked with care. We have stayed twice already and hope to return soon. Highly recommended.

Location bellissima, cibo buonissimo. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo davvero eccellente. E' vero che non c'è un menù con i prezzi , però basta domandare al proprietario prima di sedersi e scegliere quello che si vuole mangiare. Noi abbiamo preso un menù fisso , costo 45 euro, con infiniti antipasti, assaggi di 3 primi e di 4 secondi, dolce ,caffè, ammazzacaffè, acqua e vino in bottiglia compresi. E tutto veramente di qualita'. Ci torneremo sicuramente !!!!!.

Absolutely recommended! We stayed at the Penice Hotel, Restaurant for three days and were thrilled. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area by motorcycle - whether on winding pass roads or off-road, everyone gets their money's worth here. The owner Giuseppe and his team (family) welcome you so warmly that you feel comfortable from the first moment. The staff is super attentive and professional, the hospitality is simply top! The food was an absolute highlight: typically Italian and of excellent quality. There are daily changing menus, Saturdays are pizza evenings – an experience in itself. The waiters come to the table with different dishes and you get as much as you want. You can feel that they cook and serve here with real passion, the entire team is proud of the quality of the food and is happy when the guests are satisfied and full. Although the house is remote, it was busy almost every day, even in the low season. Many locals also eat here - for us a sign of real quality. After dinner you can end the evening relaxing at the bar in the next room. We'll definitely be back! An authentic, completely successful experience. (Our dog was also welcome 😊)

Posto carinissimo sul monte penice, zona casa matti, locale molto bello con una meravigliosa veranda, servizio ottimo, proprietario gentile e disponibile, cibo super, tutto veramente squisito, prezzo giustissimo, spero di tornarci presto.

Discovered randomly along the roads, the Penice Inn is a flash of Italian life to be enjoyed without moderation. The boss, his team and the cuisine reflect what we look for in Italy. Quality, joy, welcome and the art of living. Superb restaurant, fantastic and tasty meal, the boss is on the lookout for your pleasure. The rooms are clean, fresh, the park is green and leads to relaxation. I highly recommend!!
