Friendly staff, excellent cuisine, prices a little above average.

I had lunch at this restaurant during a car rally. I am gluten intolerant and it was enough to communicate it upon my arrival, receiving great attention from the restaurant staff. Abundant and really good dishes and availability of gluten-free pasta. Risotto as spectacular as everything else! Beautiful experience!

A dip in Alta Val Tidone on the Ligurian Apennines, under Monte Penice, in the heart of the 4 PROVINCES, where in a hotel hut that has nothing to envy of the best in Trentino Alto Adige, the overwhelming friendliness of Giuseppe Matti with his excellent cuisine that blends the tradition of Pavia with that of Piacenza, would put even good forks like Bud Spencer and Terence Hill to the test for the countless courses, which you will find hard to give up for the excellent and progressive quality and goodness that push you to taste everything! Oggi abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorante e non possiamo che definirlo un'esperienza indimenticabile. Abbiamo scelto di affidarci al percorso proposto dallo staff, e si è rivelato un vero e proprio trionfo di sapori e qualità. La degustazione si è aperta con dieci antipasti, ognuno dei quali rappresentava un piccolo capolavoro, perfettamente equilibrato e preparato con ingredienti di primissima qualità. È seguita poi un'esplosione di gusto con un tris di primi, che ha saputo esaltare la tradizione pur mantenendo un tocco di originalità. Ma il vero clou è arrivato con i quattro secondi di carne, cucinati alla perfezione e accompagnati da contorni che valorizzavano ogni boccone. Ogni portata si distingueva per l'attenzione ai dettagli e l'uso di prodotti artigianali e squisiti, che rendevano l'intero percorso un viaggio culinario irripetibile. A chiudere in bellezza, una carta dei dolci sorprendente, con una varietà che ha saputo soddisfare ogni desiderio, e una carta dei vini altrettanto curata, con proposte eccellenti in grado di accompagnare perfettamente ogni piatto. Il tutto a un prezzo più che onesto, considerando la qualità e la quantità offerta. Torneremo prestissimo, certi di vivere un'altra esperienza straordinaria. Consigliatissimo!
