Pastory In Palermo

The pasta was good, but a little too salty for our taste. They explained to me that the carbonara is salty because of the guanciale and I understand that. However, the cacho e pepe was also salty. Even for my husband, who usually adds more salt than I do. If there was a little less salt, it would have been perfect and the best pasta we tasted in Palermo. After all, these pastas really have great potential. The salad with burrata and tomatoes is very fresh and fragrant. As a compliment, they treat you with their own bread. We were there right after opening, so it was easy to find a table outside.

This is the first place in Palermo where we feel the food is truly a 5/5! The flavors are in every dish. Wish we found this earlier during our stay!

The food quality is excellent, and the service — though not from all waiters — is generally attentive to customers’ needs. However, some staff members seem in a hurry to clear the tables and can be a bit intrusive. Prices are unfortunately quite high, especially considering that the restaurant is not located in the city center of Palermo but tucked away in a rather anonymous side street. Booking a table is recommended, as seating is limited. The outdoor area is fine for a quick meal, but since it’s right on the street with people constantly passing by, it can spoil the atmosphere a bit.

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by accident. We trusted our intuition and don't regret it at all! The staff was very friendly and bilingual. They had a wide selection of dishes and pastas. We weren't disappointed. I highly recommend it, and we still remember this restaurant with a smile!

Excellent pasta. Excellent wine and beer. We recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality dishes. The service was fantastic – we were very warmly welcomed and served impeccably. The best carbonara we ate during our stay in Sicily (we can only envy the previous places we tried carbonara at).
