Pasticceria Tombolato In Padova

I have been frequenting this pastry shop since I moved to Ponte di Brenta, that is for three years, and I have always found it wonderful. Tombolato is a small but very popular place, with a modern and charming atmosphere. Breakfast is one of the strong points: more than decent coffee, cappuccinos prepared to perfection but, above all, really high quality pastries and croissants, better than all those tried in the rest of the city, always fresh and decidedly generous in the filling. (lately it's pancake season, these are also highly recommended). The pastry shop also offers numerous savory options, aperitifs, chocolates and much more; in recent months a much appreciated selection of teas and herbal teas has been added, considering the lack of real tea rooms in Padua, all of truly excellent quality and served in an elegant manner. Finally, the small pastry shop offers more than excellent treats. I recommend Tombolato to all those looking for a pampering and a break with high-quality products; I personally think it is one of the best pastry shops in the city.

The table service needs to be reviewed, the products and the place are excellent, the problem is that the staff doesn't know what's there, it's difficult to make yourself understood what you want to order and the orders arrive one piece at a time, which takes a lot of time. .

We stopped for breakfast and ate delicious croissants, very buttery. The cappuccino is also very good, with a dense foam (I chose it with soy milk).

Impossible not to give 5 stars. Nice and welcoming environment, friendly staff and excellent products. Top quality for baked products in general. Fragrant brioches. Perfect cappuccino (the sugar remains on top of the foam due to how dense it is).
